Description

SMOOTH AND RESPONSIVE

The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35 is built for runners at every level, whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just starting out. It features a breathable mesh upper with an out-turned collar for Achilles comfort. Down below, the cushioning has been updated with full-length Zoom Air for the first time ever to deliver a smoother, more natural stride.

Responsive Cushioning

Zoom Air cushioning delivers a springy, responsive feel. It absorbs the impact of your foot as it lands and turns it into energy for your next stride. It runs the entire length of your foot, so you get a smoother, more natural transition from heel to toe, and it's housed in premium Cushlon foam for even more comfort and support.

Lockdown Fit

The mesh upper is engineered to provide stretch and support where you need it most. This keeps your foot secured over the cushioning without limiting your movement or comfort. Flywire cables tighten with the laces so you stay locked in.

Comfortable Feel

At the back, the collar is turned away so it doesn't rub against your Achilles tendon. You get the same structure around the heel that you expect from the Pegasus, but without any friction.

Very comfortable. Bought the green to match school colors.

I just got my second pair of these after wearing them for about 9 months as a shoe I wore both to school and for my highschool track and cross country practices. The upper is very durable and doesn’t look too different from my new pair after roughly 600 miles. These shoes have performed extremely well in many circumstances but I have found them best suited for track and road workouts. They are rather snug out of the box and take some time to break in if you want a more relaxed feel. After running in the new pair compared to my old ones I have found it much easier to push the pace and have experienced less soreness in my hamstring and calves. The durablility on the midsole is alright considering I have completely overworn these but they do start to wear down on the back and the foam broke apart form the rubber outsole pretty quickly. After experiencing a fresh pair of these badboys, I can say that they are very responsive and a quality choice for a daily trainer that can carry you through all types of workouts and conditions.

Maybe the average person has a slender foot. I’m not sure. But my feet are wide and I wanted to see if these could fit them. I went a full size up in the regular width because my true size in the Extra Wide version of this shoe is not available. I’ve tried on narrow shoes for most of my life but these may be the most extreme example. Even going a full size up, getting into them was a bit tough and then the pressure felt all around was too much. It’s a shame because I like the color I picked, the moonbeam. Nike should provide a variety of colors in their wide versions because all I see is a standard black and white, unassuming but uninteresting. If you have a wide foot, particularly in the forefoot, be wary of the standard width. Try it in a store if you really want this shoe.
